Scientific Calculator
Trigonometry, logarithms, powers, constants and full expression evaluation.
Formula
How to calculate
- 1Group anything that must happen first inside parentheses.
- 2Resolve exponents (x², xʸ) before multiplication and division.
- 3Work multiplication and division left to right.
- 4Finish with addition and subtraction, left to right.
How to use this calculator
- 1Type or tap your expression using the keypad or keyboard.
- 2Use parentheses, ±, %, memory and trig functions as needed.
- 3Press = (or Enter) to evaluate; ANS recalls the last result.
- 4Adjust DEG/RAD mode before trigonometric work.
Examples
Precedence example
2 + 3 × 4² = 2 + 3 × 16 = 50 — the exponent applies before multiplication.
Parentheses example
(2 + 3) × 4 = 20 — grouping changes the order of evaluation.
Common questions
Does it support trig and logs?
Yes — sin, cos, tan, log, ln and roots are on the keypad. Switch DEG/RAD for angles before evaluating trig functions.
Can I reuse the previous answer?
Yes — ANS inserts the last result into the next expression, so you can chain calculations.
Keyboard shortcuts?
Numbers, operators and Enter (=) all work directly from your keyboard; Escape clears the display.
